Buti is in Tuscany Region, in the province of Pisa closed to the slopes of the Serra Mountain on the river Rio Magno, and it is an ancient medieval village whose name derives from Latin “bucita” that means pasture of cows. The first written attestation of the existence of the village is around year 841 with the construction of two churches. Today, some of these castles are ruins and others are completely destroyed.
